Boat rules

Cabins

We offer 3 double cabins: you have the choice between sharing a double cabin as a couple or with friends. These cabins are equipped with a closet, shelves and/or drawers.

The boat has two washbasins, two showers and two toilets.

The interior of the yacht also consists of a common space, the “saloon”, with dining room, kitchen, and the skipper’s chart table.

The kitchen is equipped with a gas oven and stove, numerous storage spaces and a fridge.
Crockery and all kitchen utensils are part of the yacht’s equipment.

The boat is powered by 12V (USB connection to a “cigarette lighter” type plug) only near the chart table. A 12V/220V “converter” is available for small powers (smartphone battery charger, camera, laptop, computer, tablet, etc.). Hair dryers, straightening irons… are not allowed on the boat.

An inflatable dinghy with outboard motor is used for reaching the shore.

Our itinerary is determined according to the day’s program, your desires, and the weather, while keeping a margin of flexibility, and enjoying the moment. The routes are round trips from and to Portisco, unless otherwise indicated.

Water

Boats are by nature environments where it is essential to use water in moderation. This allows us to anchor away from noise and busy cities/ports and preserve our privacy.

The water supply at departure (500 litres: for shower, dishes, water for kettle) is enough for your comfort. However, for environmental and capacity reasons we will encourage you to use the water responsibly.

Drinking water will be provided in bottles. Bring a water bottle to avoid waste.

APA, Advanced Provisioning Allowance (or Caisse de Bord in French) is used to pay for local expenses. This allowance is not included in the price of your cruise and the amount depends on the chosen formula.

Course of the cruise and life on board

The standard cruise lasts from a Saturday (boarding between 5 pm and 7 pm) to the following Friday evening. We offer the possibility to spend the last night on board with checkout at 9 am the next day).

On the sailboat, conviviality is required. The boat must be returned to Portisco in the same state of cleanliness as at departure. Everyone participates in the life on board (preparing meals, washing up, tidying up, etc.), except for the all-inclusive formula (don’t worry: we won’t ask you to clean the deck), but we want to keep our boat nice and clean on the way back).

Manoeuvers

The skipper is capable of maneuvering the boat alone. However, you are welcome to participate, learn and discover how a sailboat is handled. Participation does not require any knowledge of sailing. Depending on the weather conditions, part of the cruise can be motorized.

Other

Your satisfaction and well-being are important to us, but we cannot meet all the requirements of medical or dietary regimes. Please take precautions when planning out this trip.

It is forbidden to smoke inside the boat, only the deck is reserved for this purpose.

It is strictly forbidden to embark weapons, as well as any chemical or vegetable substance considered forbidden in the countries crossed.

The vessel may be controlled by Customs.

A security briefing with important safety instructions will be given upon your arrival on the boat.
